Reno Co. set to improve its computer technology

Reno County department heads this year called for a major upgrade of computer technology, but the county commissioners withheld final approval of Administrator Gary Meagher County came on board and be reviewed.

* Board tabled action on a contract with Siemens Energy Inc. completed before the contract is submitted by the company. The province is expected to commit to incentives for wind power equipment facility employing at least 400 people.

* The Board has issued the only bidder for the leachate storage pond expansion, JJ Westhoff Construction Co., Neb., A contract for around $ 399,213. It was under the estimated engineering.

* The Department of Health to purchase two hand-held digital devices to determine the environmental staff of geographic information. The price is $ 26,980.
